Sam + Luke’s Mountain Engagement Photography Boise Idaho
These two were so much fun! We went up to Idaho City one cold (but sunny) day to do engagement pictures in the mountains. I’m always up to photograph adorable couples in the mountains. As an Idaho engagement photographer, I love using the available nature as a backdrop, and Idaho is the perfect place for it. This was only about an hour outside of Boise. Although the icy roads slightly scared me, and there’s no phone service for a good portion of the trip, it’s all worth it, as you can see from these photos!
Do I Have to do Engagement Pictures?
So, when I was getting married, a seemingly unjustifiable cost was engagement photos. You get enough pictures on your wedding day, right??? As a Boise and Los Angeles wedding photographer, I’ve seen couples do them, and do without them. So, here are the pros and cons of doing engagement pictures.

Wedding Photography for under $100
So the other day a friend asked me about being a wedding photographer in Boise for another friend’s wedding. “That would be awesome!” I said, then asked about things like date and location. I happened to be booked for that day, but I asked about her budget, thinking I could refer another photographer in Idaho based on the budget.
