Amman contacted me early in the year, looking for someone to photograph his surprise proposal to his girlfriend. I was SO EXCITED. So we went back and forth for a little while, came up with a cover story, got rained out the day we were supposed to do it, rescheduled, came up with another story, and then we went!

So our cover story was that I hired Amman’s company to evaluate the photography experience. He invited Shradda along to help with the evaluation. I set it up so that she was turned away in the exact right spot, and then I told her to go ahead and turn back around when he was ready on one knee. AND WE GOT HER!! It was so exciting, the perfect lighting, and her face was absolutely priceless. It was perfect.
