These two are perfect and weird in all the best ways. They compliment each other in a way that’s beautiful to see. Kim is a beautiful, sensible girl who laughs easily, and Bilal is an academic with his head in the clouds. They’re both nerds. I loved being their Los Angeles wedding photographer. I also got to do their engagement photos late last year, which was so much fun.
Details for Kim and Bilal’s Los Angeles Wedding:
This was a crazy day, although everything that Kim and Bilal could have planned for, they planned so well. They chose to get married in Pomona, which is a quiet area of LA. Parking and traffic was so quiet and easy. The Sheraton was only a few minutes away from Mountain Meadows Golf Course, so we didn’t have to worry about someone getting stuck in traffic.
HOWEVER. It rained. On and off the whole day. They had to move the ceremony indoors, and it really limited the photos we could take outside. That was kind of a bummer because it was so beautiful outside. But the entire vendor team was top notch, and together we pulled off a very long, complex day. Kim and Bilal were so amazing through the whole day, the videography team was so cooperative and easy-going, and my second shooter, Brittanee, was AMAZING! Never underestimate the power of a good team to get through a 15-20 hour day. Pick your vendors not just for their talent but for their personality.
